Kevin St. John
Kevin St. John is an experienced litigator, advocate, problem solver, and counselor. His experience includes trial-level and appellate litigation in state and federal courts, as well as litigation management, involving a wide range of substantive issue areas. These areas include constitutional law, consumer protection law, commercial law, environmental law, administrative law, labor and employment law, securities law, public records, intellectual property law, contracts, election law, campaign finance law, and many others. St. John has also provided a full range of counsel to clients on issues ranging from acquisitions, governance, and employment.
St. John has represented corporations, privately held companies, non-profits, and government officials in their official capacity. From 2011-2015, St. John was Wisconsin’s Deputy Attorney General, the number two official in the state Department of Justice. There he was the executive manager of over 600 employees, including approximately 100 lawyers. While with DOJ, St. John spearheaded a number of legislative initiatives and developed expertise in crisis management and communication. St. John also served on the National Association of Attorneys General Strategic Planning Committee, the National Attorneys General Training and Research Institute’s Advisory Committee, and multiple state legislative committees.
In 2012, St. John was recognized by Wisconsin Law Journal as a Leader in the Law.
