Roisin Bell has litigated cases at both the trial and appellate court levels in jurisdictions across the country, together with cases venued before state regulatory authorities, including defending professionals before state licensing boards. Her representation extends to a vast array of cases and includes medical malpractice and products liability defense, complex contract disputes, insurance coverage, municipal and zoning issues, as well as cases involving various business torts, including misappropriation of trade secrets, tortious interference claims and unfair competition.
Prior to forming Bell Giftos St. John LLC, Roisin worked for a large Midwest law firm and also served as the Executive Assistant to Commissioner Lauren Azar during the initial period of her tenure at the Wisconsin Public Service Commission.
Roisin has developed a particular emphasis and interest in issues relevant to health care entities and providers. As a result, she has significant experience in defending against medical malpractice claims in jurisdictions in and around Wisconsin. Roisin also has significant experience at the appellate level litigating issues surrounding Wisconsin's comprehensive medical malpractice scheme, together with providing counsel on the statutes and regulations implementing that scheme. She has also defended private entities against civil rights claims stemming from health care treatment, together with bringing litigation on behalf of health care entities involving various issues regarding anti-competitive practices in the health care industry.
